Learn to control it effectively.
Let’s be honest from the start, anger is one of our many emotions that we all feel and experience from time to time and is very normal. However, it is how we deal with this anger that is important and the level remains both proportionate and appropriate. Some people can merely brush it off very easily, some brood on it and some explode either verbally, physically or psychologically. This is when it can become harmful not only to yourself but to others around you.
It does not have to be this way anymore.
Many people find that when they try to control their anger, they are already angry so are coming at this from a very disadvantaged angle.
Imagine this scenario: You leave your house as you are going for a long walk. You notice, however, that the sky looks overcast and grey. You think briefly about taking a coat and an umbrella but decide against it hoping it will stay dry. A short while later, the heavens open and you are caught in the downpour and get soaked to the skin. This would clearly be a lack of preparation as the possibility was known but ignored.
The better option would be upon noticing the possibility of rain, take your coat and umbrella. If it’s not needed, then that is ok because you were prepared anyway. This is planning ahead and makes much more sense.
You also have a few other options. One could be cut your walk short and return home or even decide against it there and then. If you really wanted to go on that walk, and even if you’ve started your journey, you could return to your house and get what you need.
Well, Anger can be a bit like this. It doesn’t just suddenly appear, it builds. We can choose to approach a situation unprepared and (using the weather scenario) get soaked. We can also cut it short or get prepared.
Can you see the comparison?
Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy will give you the knowledge and ability to plan ahead, foresee a potential problem and address it before it even starts.
There may be many reasons for the anger. It can be anger for an experience at that exact moment. It can be ‘projected anger’ i.e. anger at something/someone else and it is ‘projected’ towards something/someone else. It could also be the person just does not have a coping mechanism to control it.
Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy will help you control, reduce or manage your anger.
