What we feel dictates how we think and how we think dictates how we behave. This is all very well if it is used in a positive way. However, if this is a negative feeling, the outcome will reflect this.
Guilt can take on many aspects. It can include shame, regret, embarrassment, a desire to ‘turn the clock back’ and ‘wishful thinking’ amongst others, and can be a form of self-punishment at times.
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got”
The above quote is very true so we need to find a way of NOT doing what we have always done and instead do something different and new.
