Hello and welcome to my practice room at Number 1 Harley Street, London. In this video, I explain a concept of how therapy can work in a similar way to a broken toe (mine was broken at the time of this recording) and also a technique to change how you think, from a negative version to a positive version.
This is crucial because what you THINK, affects the way you FEEL, and how you FEEL affects the way you BEHAVE.
By grasping and applying the THINKING, you will be taking ownership.
Progressing on this will help you decide how to FEEL, and again it will be YOU doing this and taking charge.
Then you will notice how you now BEHAVE. You will be behaving in a much more controlled way. YOU will be the captain of your ship and not a deckhand anymore.
This is also a great message to pass onto your children too (if you have them), as you are one of their biggest influences by far.
